We have won several new projects this month, and with lockdown lifting we have also seen an increase in enquiries from both existing and new clients.
Trafalgar School, Hilsea, Portsmouth
We have recently signed contracts for a refurbishment project at Trafalgar School in Hilsea in Portsmouth. This project involves work to two areas in the school - creating new classrooms in the currently unused Lower Ground Floor along with refurbishing the Art block. The project is worth about £450k and will take place over the next 3 months.
Portsmouth CC - Project Framework
Mountjoy has won a place on the Portsmouth City Council Primary Contractor Framework 2021 - 2025. This new contract provides the Council with a shortlist of 13 pre-approved contractors who can tender for general building projects up to £1.5m in value per project over the next four years. The majority of the work will be planned maintenance projects to housing blocks across the City and we are hoping for a steady stream of project tenders through this framework.
Growing the maintenance hubs
Over the next few months our focus in maintenance is on smaller opportunities we can deliver through our maintenance hub teams in the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth (Hampshire Hub) and Horsham (Sussex Hub). We are currently quoting small works for a wide range of clients including housing associations, churches, colleges, schools and businesses.
