Mountjoy has been awarded a circa £850,000 contract by Vistry Homes Ltd to carry out the full replacement of the pitched roof covering and other repairs to the external building fabric at Reflections - a development of flats in Chichester.
Reflections is comprised of six apartment blocks located along a private road next to Chichester’s central ship canal. In addition to replacing the tiled roof on all six blocks, Mountjoy will also be carrying out curtain walling repairs, basement waterproofing and brickwork repairs.
Residents will remain in occupation whilst the works take place, and due to the tight nature of the site and permit parking in place, effective logistical planning will be a key factor in the overall success of the scheme.
The works are due to commence in August and will take approximately 7 months to complete. The contract is being administered by Hollis Global LLP on behalf of Vistry Homes Ltd.
