Mountjoy has been awarded a contract by Farnham Baptist Church to construct a new 150 sqm extension and carry out refurbishment works to their existing building in Farnham town centre.
The project will provide a much-anticipated larger activity hall on the ground floor of the building along with a remodelled upper floor, forming new teaching areas and offices. A nursery and other local community groups are due to benefit from the additional space.
The project commenced on site in early November and is programmed for an April 2020 completion. The church congregation and community groups have been temporarily relocated to allow the works to proceed.
Earlier in the year, Mountjoy completed a highly praised refurbishment project at St Michael’s Church in Paulsgrove. We are always delighted to be involved in these type of Church projects as they help demonstrate Mountjoy’s mission which is to enhance people’s lives in the local community.
