Mountjoy has been awarded a £1.3m contract by Bradfield College in Berkshire to carry out the complete replacement of pitched and flat roofs, window and brickwork repairs at the ‘House on the Hill’ boarding house.
Bradfield College is a prestigious independent, co-educational boarding school for pupils aged 13 to 18 that prides itself on providing an ‘education for life’ fit for the 21st century.
The project is due to commence in June and is projected for completion in early September in readiness for the new school term and pupil intake.
The contract is a great addition to Mountjoy’s growing portfolio of projects for independent schools. Currently we are on site with the construction of a sports hall extension at Ditcham Park School in Petersfield and we are also completing a new 68-room boarding house for Ryde School with Upper Chine on the Isle of Wight.
