Mountjoy to refurbish Council chamber for Mid Sussex DC

Mountjoy have secured a £500,000 contract with Mid Sussex District Council to refurbish and improve accessibility at their Oaklands building in Haywards Heath.

The works include a major refurbishment of the Council Chamber and the installation of a new lift serving the basement level through to the first floor.  The project is due to commence in early June, with completion set for late October.

Health and safety will be of the utmost importance during the project, as the Oaklands building is the main office of the Mid Sussex District Council and will be occupied by staff and visiting members of the public.

This project continues Mountjoy’s successful growth in the Sussex area – with a new office near Horsham opened in October 2019.
