Mountjoy has recently procured new electric additions to its vehicular fleet.
As part of our company-wide commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, Mountjoy were looking for a sustainable option to add to our fleet of hybrid electric vehicles. Following a detailed review we selected the CUPRA Born.
The CUPRA Born is the first 100% electric model by CUPRA and is delivered to customers as net CO2-neutral. The model includes a number of innovative features, including Eco LED headlamps, aluminium lightweight bodywork, and the use of recycled materials in the vehicle’s seats, armrests, and door panels.
The 19 new CUPRA Borns will be used by our Supervisors as they travel locally to and from site. Supervisors will be able to charge their new vehicles using one of our 22kw chargers that have been installed at our Portsmouth office, Fairfield House, or one of the 7kw chargers located at our Buildbase depot.
This new procurement furthers our efforts in creating an environmentally friendly and sustainable fleet, and achieving our net-zero carbon commitment.
