Abbie was recognised for the commitment and integrity demonstrated in her day-to-day work. Examples given include managing all recruitment activity without asking for help, working around her jury service and ensuring unnamed deliveries found their way to people.
February 2021 - Runners Up
Lewis was nominated following a miscommunication with a supplier; rather than shrug off the issue as not his problem, he wanted to help out as the job had been live for months. He made call after call to resolve the issue and even went to collect materials himself.
Kev was nominated for stepping up to support the company's IT strategy following the departure of our two IT staff. Specifically, he had taken the time to understand and lead the implementation of the new IP phone system at Farlington and a new network and server DR plan for the wider company. This is over and above his day job and has moved a number of key IT priorities forward.
Paul was nominated for his professionalism - having spent months as the company's only safety resource, he has prioritised a challenging workload and ensured a swift response to key incidents and issues. This is in addition to interpreting and communicating the continually changing Covid rules.
Steve was nominated for providing excellent emotional support to a colleague after they received some devastating news whilst out on a job. He displayed both significant empathy and encouragement and really helped out during a difficult time.
