We are pleased to have been shortlisted as a finalist in four award categories at The News Business Excellence Awards 2024.
The awards celebrate the best in business from across Portsmouth, recognising business success in the city and the surrounding areas.
The categories we have been shortlisted for include:
- The Large Business of the Year – Recognises outstanding performance by a company with a workforce of 50 or more, celebrating outstanding achievements in growth, turnover and profitability, clear vision and plans for the future, innovation and creativity, and overcoming challenges.
- Community Business of the Year – Recognises a company demonstrating commitment to supporting their local community, setting aside, time, money, and resource to help local communities.
- Employer of the Year – An award for the best company to work for, celebrating clear commitment to developing and motivating the workforce.
- Apprentice/Trainee of the Year – Recognises an apprentice or trainee who has demonstrated commitment to their personal development and progression through learning, exceeding the expectations of their mentors.
We are thrilled that two of our apprentices have been nominated for the Apprentice/Trainee of the year award, including Gemma Dickson, our Apprentice HR Administrator, and Leanne Furneaux, who has recently completed her carpentry apprenticeship.
The awards will be held at the Guildhall on Friday 23rd February where the winners will be revealed.
