This October, Mountjoy are celebrating the 10-year work anniversary of Dean Gardner, a labourer working on our maintenance contract with Portsmouth City Council.
Dean was recruited to our team through The Learning Disability Partnership, an innovative programme with a mission to make sure people living with learning difficulties in Hampshire are valued and supported, enabling them to lead independent lives within the community.
As part of this ongoing partnership, since 2013 Mountjoy has provided paid employment for local people with learning difficulties in Portsmouth, supporting them in their roles within the business and the progression of their careers within the industry.
Simon Ingram, Managing Director of Mountjoy, celebrated Dean’s ongoing success within Mountjoy, stating, ‘We are thrilled to be celebrating Dean’s 10 years Length of Service at Mountjoy. Dean has been working within our materials service department for the past decade, and is a valued member of the team. His hard work over the years has been a great contribution to our service, and we are proud that Dean continues to thrive within Mountjoy ten years on from his recruitment.’
