Mountjoy has recently secured new contracts with both the ARK Academy Trust and The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT).
The ARK Academy Trust is a network of 39 schools in the UK, in Birmingham, Hastings, London and Portsmouth. Each of the schools has its own distinctive character, reflecting its local community. Mountjoy have been awarded a £250,000 contract to refurbish the library at the ARK Ayrton Primary Academy in Portsmouth over the summer 2022 period.
The Kemnal Academies Trust manage 45 primary and secondary schools across South East England, including 4 in Hampshire, 11 in West Sussex and 1 in Surrey. Mountjoy have won a place on 2 lots of their Asset Management Framework, to carry out minor refurbishment projects (under £150k) and larger works (£150k to £500k).
Academy Trusts are an increasingly important part of education in the UK and the works will have a significant impact for the local communities.
