Over the course of the morning of Saturday 12th December, members of our Isle of Wight Council building maintenance team volunteered their time to re-decorate the main entrance and internal corridors at Sandown Bay Children’s Centre. The team consisted of our two contract Supervisors Adrian Blake and Shane Gulliver, along with Chris Johnson, our contract Decorator.
The team removed all noticeboards and signs along the walls and filled in any holes before re-painting the walls in diamond matt paint and reinstating the signs. As part of the project Adrian also cleaned the high-level window in the centre’s main entrance.
Following completion of the work, staff at the centre were very happy with the result.
