Construction and maintenance company, Mountjoy has appointed Duncan O’Rourke to the position of Building Projects Director with effect from 1st March 2018.

Duncan joins the Board of Directors and will have overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the company’s Projects division.   Mountjoy’s construction and special projects business delivers both new build and refurbishment projects in the education, healthcare, housing, local government and heritage sectors ranging in value from a few hundred thousand pounds up to £5m.

Duncan started with Mountjoy as a Contracts Manager in 2010 and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2015 during which time he has overseen significant growth in the Special Projects team.  Prior to joining Mountjoy he worked for several other main contractors and also Housing Associations in both commercial and development management roles.

Tony Pendrigh, who has been overseeing the Projects Division on an interim basis, will be staying with the company for the next six months to provide additional capacity to the team and continuity on projects that have already commenced.
