Mountjoy, the construction and maintenance services provider, has been appointed by Hampshire County Council to provide a reactive repairs and planned maintenance service to over nine hundred Council and school buildings located across the East of Hampshire.
It includes maintenance to a number of high profile sites including the County Council’s Head Office complex in Winchester as well as schools, museums, libraries, care homes, country parks, fire and police facilities. From 1st August Mountjoy will be providing a full helpdesk service, 24/7 reactive repairs and minor building works covering a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, roofing, decorating, glazing, fencing and paving.
This contract further expands Mountjoy's presence in the facilities management market. It comes on the back of wins in 2016/17 with the University of Portsmouth, Isle of Wight Council and Portsmouth City Council.
