Mountjoy has been in attendance at two big events in Southampton this week devoted to learning and apprenticeships.
Our HR team exhibited at the Get Inspired Southampton event held by the Education Business Partnership at O2 Guildhall Southampton aimed at highlighting local job opportunities to school and college pupils.
The event was attended by 51 organisations, businesses, colleges and training providers and was visited by nearly 700 parents, families and children. Mountjoy's stand had a 'wire buzzer game' to encourage young people to visit and find out more about opportunities in a construction and maintenance company.
Also at the O2 Guildhall Southampton this week was the Southampton Apprentice Awards Ceremony. Mountjoy was a sponsor for the event which saw local apprentices receive their qualification in a formal presentation from the Mayor of Southampton.
