Mountjoy has been selected by the Isle of Wight Council to provide their Day-to-Day Building Maintenance Contract.

The four-year contract with the Isle of Wight Council starts on 1st January and will cover a mixture of building repairs and project work within civic buildings located across the Island including offices, schools, care homes, fire stations and leisure centres.

Mountjoy’s roots are based on the Isle of Wight, where its parent company group was first established in 1992 as Island Group 90. This later became the Quarr Group in 1995, comprising Mountjoy and two sister companies, Nviro and Pabulum.

As part of Mountjoy’s Social Value Plan and commitment to making a positive contribution to local communities, the contract team have recently installed a defibrillator in Ryde Library for free as a good will gesture.
