Mountjoy secures first contract with Portsmouth University

The University of Portsmouth has awarded Mountjoy a £100k contract for the refurbishment of the security lodge on the Langstone Campus.

Langstone Campus is part of the University's estate and provides residential accommodation for students and outdoor sports facilities.  The on-site security lodge houses a security team, which operates 24/7.

The project comprises the general refurbishment of the existing building, which is single storey, brick built, including the replacement of the existing windows and the flat roof.  Internally, there are electrical works for power and lighting, heating, water supply and drainage, plus the installation of fixtures and fittings.

The project is expected to start on site early July.
