The Objective
Provision of reactive repairs and planned maintenance services to over nine hundred Council and school buildings located across the East of Hampshire. Assets include a number of high profile sites including the County Council's Head Office complex in Winchester as well as schools, museums, libraries, care homes, country parks, fire and police facilities.
The Solution
During mobilisation Mountjoy arranged the TUPE transfer of staff from the previous contract as well as setting up local recruitment open days to attract staff from the area to apply for vacant positions.
A local office was set up in Winchester from where the direct team of operatives and call handlers are based; members of the Council are also welcome to hot desk. Mountjoy provides a full helpdesk service, 24/7 reactive repairs and minor building works covering a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, roofing, decorating, glazing, fencing and paving.
