RESPONSIVE AND PLANNED MAINTENANCE FOR SOUTHERN HOUSING GROUP, ISLE OF WIGHT REGION'S HOUSING ASSETS

Mountjoy was commissioned by Southern Housing Group to provide responsive maintenance, voids and planned works for 3,000 homes on the Isle of Wight.

The contract involves the provision of day-to-day responsive repairs; installation of bathrooms and kitchens, refurbishment of void properties ready for occupation, planned building refurbishments and upgrades, and any other ad hoc maintenance relating to the building fabric, fixtures, fittings and M&E.

We have a direct labour force of over 40 operatives in the field and a dedicated operations centre for this contract. We operate a dynamic scheduling system where residents choose a time (morning or afternoon) that suits them and the resource is allocated accordingly. Works are carried out whilst the property is occupied; this requires a high level of health and safety and good customer service.

Mountjoy was recently awarded Southern Housing Group's Sustainable Contractor of the Year 2011.
