Since 2022, Mountjoy have been a contractor on Lot 3 and 4 of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) Asset Management Services Framework.
TKAT is made up of over 40 academies (including both primary and secondary academies) spread across the South of England, including:
- London
- Essex
- Surrey
- Hampshire
- East Sussex
- West Sussex
The purpose of the framework is to create a core group of qualified contractors who can be called upon by any of TKAT’s academies or corporate services in order to provide a range of construction works and services across TKAT’s Assets. This streamlined approach to asset management allows the Trust to standardise their use of suppliers and ensures that only trusted suppliers are used to deliver required works.
As a contractor on Lot 3 and Lot 4 of the framework, Mountjoy will have the opportunity to tender for general building and construction works valued up to £150k (Lot 3) and above £150k (Lot 4).
Works will be delivered across TKAT’s range of Academies, including both primary and secondary academies, and so student safeguarding and high standards of health and safety will be integral to all works undertaken through the framework.
The framework will run for a total of four years, coming to an end in June 2026, and is estimated to deliver a total of £22m worth of works, with over £9m of this attributed to Lot 3 and 4.
